Our Story
Adventure Ministries was born from a simple conviction: the Great Commission isn't a suggestion — it's a calling. We exist to help every believer answer that call through short-term mission experiences that transform both the server and the served.
Why We Go
Based in Colorado Springs, CO, Adventure Ministries has been sending teams into the mission field since 2018. We believe that when believers step out of their comfort zones and into communities that need hope, something extraordinary happens — lives are changed on both sides.
Every trip we organize is built around three pillars: Go, Serve, and Grow. We handle the logistics so your team can focus on what matters — building relationships, sharing the Gospel, and growing in faith together.
What We Believe
Our ministry is built on the unchanging truth of Scripture.
About Jesus
We believe Jesus is both fully God and fully Man, that He was born of a virgin, performed many miracles, died on a cross for all of mankind's sins, and rose again on the third day, just as it was prophesied would happen.
We believe that Jesus is God's one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, as laid out for us in John 3:16.
We believe Jesus when He says in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
We believe Jesus is part of the triune God, the creator of all the universe.
About the Bible
We believe "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that since all scripture is God breathed, then there can be nothing that is untrue in it. Where the Bible speaks on an issue, the Bible is correct.
The Great Commission
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”Matthew 28:19-20
We believe this applies to us today. That this is not a mere suggestion. That as followers of Christ we must all follow the Great Commission. Part of being a follower of Christ means we are all called to the mission field. Whether that be next door or around the world shouldn't matter to us. We are told to go and make disciples.
